Membership

Becoming a member of LSAANZ provides you with various benefits including attendance at events or discounts on LSAANZ events, updates about publication and networking opportunities, and connection to the law and society community in Australia and New Zealand.

We also provide an email connection to all other members so that we can keep each other informed about opportunities that may be of interest (see the Contact Us page for details).

By joining, you also support our ability to offer publication prizes and events.

LSAANZ offers three types of annual memberships:

• Standard ($40)

• Casually employed (academic contract of 12 months or less) ($20)

• Student ($20).

Membership is from 1 July until 30 June e.g., 1 July 2024-30 June 2025.

We now offer the option of purchasing a two-year or three-year membership.

To purchase your membership, click on the Annual membership image below and then on the next page “Add membership to cart”. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, click on the shopping cart (base of the page, right hand side).

We are also pleased to announce that members are now able to purchase an electronic subscription to Legalities: The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Law and Society for $10. This grants the member access to all current and previous versions of the journal for the LSAANZ membership year at a significant cost saving. If you would like to add a subscription to your membership, once you have selected  “Add membership to cart”, then select the plus symbol beside “One year Legalities subscription – member exclusive”. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, click on the shopping cart (base of the page, right hand side).
